At RainbowWay.org a group of five RubyFriends has been collecting the stories of a whole community for updating the living book, George's Business: "Tending the Sacred Fire of Liberty." They are Abba (Lloyd & Billie Nelson), Herb (Sage RSVP), Dex (from Rome, Georgia) and Ruth. Ruth plays the role of scribe at the computer keyboard & the role of Mom in real life. S/he follows IT (WWW), and they travel The Way together.

Neighborhood Watch Report
Drs. Covenant House: incident, report of violent harassment against resident #108 Nava Manor.
Friday, during the change of watch from RSVP to George's Business (Noon +/- 30 minutes), I was transfixed, impacted by the sound of a person slamming a hand or fist against the wall (or bulletin board) in the hallway behind me. I heard Kathy Garfio (Housing Authority employee), her voice loud and angry, say in response to Janet (resident apt.# 208) "I know IT was her!"
The story is history NOW. but IT follows the pattern of violent harassment to which we who live in Nava Manor have been subjected through the years.
This incident began when I entered the first floor hallway through the east door and saw Garfio, Janet and a third person entering the west wing hallway. As they passed my apartment door, Kathy demanded to know, "What's this?" She pointed to an RSVP (written communication) posted on my door. I had written a response by hand to a conversation that had begun with a notice slipped under my door about the parking situation.
Answering Kathy's question, I shrugged and said, "As you see."
She asked, "Do you know who took down the sign?" She pointed to the bulletin board where the notice had been posted that had started the written conversation.
"No." I responded truthfully.
As we crossed paths @ the fire door between the two wings of the building, she said, "IT's a felony to take down ...." I heard Janet's voice but not her words followed by the bang. I stood shocked and accused -- AGAIN! I reported the incident to Dr. Crisp-Yeager, Neighborhood Watch volunteer, and to her partners at RainbowWay.org.
This morning [NOW=Saturday], two of them came to record (take a picture of) the communique on the door of apartment # 108. IT had disappeared. Neighbors reported that the Housing Authority "head hancho" had come knocking on resident doors to ask who had how many automobiles needing to be parked in the front lot. We speculated and complained to one another about this and the fact that Housing Auththority trucks do not belong to residents, yet routinely their emplyees take up space in the parking lot and use the community room and public rest rooms from which we and our guests are barred.
