Our thoughts have been much focused on you, not only as we drove through Missouri but every moment since. We've been reading Jimmy Carter's novel about the revolution and reflecting on history as Abba tells us about his experience at Fort Leonard Wood. When he first arrived there in ????, his CO told the new recruits to take a good look at the empty bulletin board and remember. IT would be filled with "Dear John" letters (i.e. correspondence), the CO prophesied, before they were through with their basic training.
NOW IT IS ALMOST CHRISTMAS. Your uncle and I have been writing and responding to a flood of correspondence as we wait for the return of two books that we left at the Carter Center for the author to sign as Lauren Kent-Delany, Director of Educational Programs promised.
Recycling the Word with Friends of the public library system in the US Dex and I have come to understand the message, the word of what I have called the Great Spirit of creation acting in history -- "E PLURIBUS UNUM." Writing IT from Coffeyville, we were not far from Independence where there is "An Official Laura Ingalls Wilder Home Site." The clocks told US that the time was 1:25 AM Saturday, 20 November 2010. We'd been returning home following a journey in which we sought to find truth in another library.
Having difficulties working within the limitations of dimensions of space/time, I have felt a bit like we're traveling still in the fiction of a "Hornet's Nest." We get stung no matter which way we turn. This is especially true working with the West Wing from Nava Manor where I work with Abba and Neighborhood Watch. Returning home, we must adapt to time changing.
